The
old cage and element machine
Originated
from America and now is copied by several countries. It is a combination
of 110v. & 240v. The element being 110v.
1. The running low or empty of sugar mix will blow the element,
and may cause damage to the enamelled cage due to over heating.
Reason the element is 110v. And as no insulation. The enamel cage
becomes brittle when subjected to hot and cold temperatures causing
continued replacements. (with no guarantees)
2. Can not use damp or lumpy sugar mix for fear of blowing the
cage and element.
3. Foreign bodies such as bits of corn, stick or coins etc. Will
cause you overheating problems solutions replacement parts.
4. Cleaning the head remove head along with the cage and element
from the machine, soak and then separate the element from the
cage to remove the carbon, you can either boil cage and element
in a saucepan on a stove until it is possible to remove burnt
carbon. Or if you are very quick and we mean quick you can connect
the 110v. Element to a 220/240v. Supply for a second to burn the
carbon, in seconds the element will glow then disintegrate it.
This way recommended for professionals only. (can be done on mach.)
5. Single head capacity sugar mix small.
6. Replacement cage and element cost £80 plus. Guarantee
